When she's remembered, Judy Holliday is mainly known for her role in Garson Kanin's Born Yesterday as gun moll turned citizen. Holliday was so much more than this single role: she was a wickedly funny and brilliant satirist, part of an improv comedy troupe called the Revuers (see this article on the Village scene). Kanin was a fan and so were Lillian Hellman and Dorothy Parker.
